Well i seem to be making the most of our wonderful medical insurance! After suffering with my eyes been red and itchy for 3 or 4 weeks i went to the doctors and they in turn sent me to an opthalmologist. It turns out i have a bacterial problem that would be sorted with steriod eye drops, because of Frosty thats a no go so currently i am on a bathing eye routine and then weekly checkups to ensure it doesn't get worse.
I then decided to try my luck at tile skating! Not recommended for the pregnant population. I managed to slip off the bottom stair on to the freshly mopped tiled floor and cracked my left leg on the stair as i fell - Yup i broke my leg!!! I cannot believe i did it, im so clumsy now. Thankfully after seeing an orthopedic surgeon yesterday its going to be an easy fix. I have broken the non weight bearing Fibula so it will just take some time to heal. I have a fancy boot to wear but i'm allowed to take it off to bathe.
Here are the x-rays
So on a better note we also had an appointment with my OB. We like her a lot and very happy she will be delivering our baby.
we got all the info on screening and have to set up a couple of tests - i am now planning to do this next week due to the above :-)
We also got another Ultrasound. We heard the heartbeat which is in the 160's and sounded really nice and strong.
All is well in the frosty department which is awesome. I have decided to give up work now to rehab myself and get over all these silly ailements
Here is frosty at 10 weeks and 2 days
