So today was our last appointment with my lovely fertility doctor. She was late as always but why change a habit now :) I took them some cupcakes as a thank you to the nurses and the rest of her team and they were very happy.
Frosty has been doing lots of growing over the last week going from 6.78mm to 17.34mm right on target and with a strong heartbeat. I got to hear it for the first time which was pretty cool. We were unable to get a reading of the BPM but i think thats down to their old machines, hopefully my regular OBGYN's machine will be newer and fancy.
The team gave me a blanket, bib and spoon all with their logo on it for Frostys first present and sent me on my way. It was kind of sad but exciting at the same time.
I have to continue injections for one more week, this will be a great thing to stop as it's becoming more stressful and more sore to do. last night saw the first lot of tears as it went through some scar tissue.
As for my allergies and eczema i basically have to continue to suffer a little. Its not advised to take anything so im going to work through it. Its really not all that bad in the big scheme of things
So here is Frosty today at 8 weeks and 2 days
I think S/he looks more like a fish here. The head is at the bottom left and the small bit sticking out the side is an arm bud :)
The doctor says there are 2 arms and 2 legs - how she can tell is beyond me but thank goodness
