Egg Transfer

Wednesday 3rd June saw our egg transfer. We arrived at the doctors office at 10am and waited for her to come and talk to us about our embryos.

We were shown an amazing photo of the 15 of them and which 2 would be transferred today.

They had already started to hatch which i am told is good but you never know. 2 others have been frozen and they were watching another 6 to see if they made it to freeze stage. The doc didn't think they would. 6 others were discarded.

The actual transfer was painless and over pretty quickly. I had to lie for 15 Min's after and then came home.

I now have to endure 3 days of strict bed rest! This means only getting up to go to the bathroom.

Laying in bed all day makes me quite tired so i have been having plenty of snoozes. Luckily the modern world of wireless in Internet and the TV has made it very bearable.

Rich is doing a wonderful job as chef and nursemaid but i will be glad to get up after tomorrow.

This next 2 weeks is going to be long so i am hoping for some news on the house we are trying to buy to keep my mind occupied.

I really hope these 2 make it

Pinky and Perky as they are affectionately known
